Useful Information
- Sharp sand used for screeding generally favours a supply from a marine source
- Land–based sources can cause problems when being pumped as any contamination, mainly large pieces, will or could cause a blockage within the actual pump
- Sometimes referred to as Thames washed, coarse sharp, grit sand, screeding sand or concreting sand
