Our Swedish pine Tongue and Groove Timber Boards are kiln dried. This means that it will have a stable moisture content so will not shrink or expand. This makes it ideal for indoor projects such as flooring as dry wood doesn't rot. So if you can prevent the wood from absorbing moisture, for example by keeping it indoors and using it as flooring, you won't need to worry about the wood rotting.
However, it's important to remember that as Swedish Pine is softwood, it can be susceptible to damage from rot and insects if placed outside without the proper treatment. So if you are planning on using the timber outside, remember that you need to use a suitable treatment product on the Tongue and Groove Timber to prevent it from absorbing moisture, and you need a treatment product that helps to protect against insect damage.
